I am in the process of renovating my computer system, including relocating it to a new enclosure and enhancing its performance by increasing the memory and central processing unit, along with installing a graphics card. Here’s what I have acquired:

* GTX 1050 graphics card
* Two 2400MHz Hyper X RAM modules (8GB each)
* Intel i5 7500K processor
* Seagate 3TB Hybrid Drive

Previously, I’ve encountered problems with computers and learned from those experiences. Previously, I only utilized the minimum components needed to initiate the system – RAM, CPU, and hard drive. However, immediately upon installing everything, the machine abruptly shut down and rapidly restarted, without even displaying the BIOS. This continued until I manually powered it off. Research indicated that a problem with my power supply might be the cause. Although, the existing power supply functioned correctly prior to this upgrade—though it could still be a factor. There’s also the possibility that the RAM or CPU are causing the issue, although I tested by swapping in the older components and found no change. Furthermore, the motherboard appears to be operating correctly, as it powers on when I press the power button.

I’m currently at a loss for solutions, and it seems like either my power supply or motherboard is the source of this issue.

It appears the issue originated with the motherboard. A replacement has been received, but upon startup, it fails to initiate a restart. Nevertheless, the system did previously shut down spontaneously when a fan was omitted. Besides this, everything seems operational. However, presently, my display is not detecting any signal, despite replacing both the memory and processor. Perhaps I am overlooking something?

Which motherboard are you utilizing? Please verify that your RAM modules have been securely installed within their designated slots.

Will booting without RAM modules still result in the same restarting issue? Can a built-in speaker be connected to evaluate the board through beeps?

Despite taking slightly more time—around a few seconds—it continues to reboot.

Attempt to install a solitary RAM stick and then perform a test. Confirm that it’s completely seated within the memory slot—certain models might necessitate greater pressure. Exercise caution to avoid causing damage.

Subsequently, when performed without memory, the motherboard shuts down within approximately one second. This also occurs with a solitary RAM stick installed.
