I powered down my PC overnight (usually I mine ETH on my gaming rig) and the next day it doesn’t show up on the screen. I’ve checked all cables, tested different displays and ports, moved the GPU, swapped out RAM, and even used a MOBO display. The issue seems to be with the monitor itself—LEDs are working but nothing appears. What should I do next?
Generally, the next action would be to replace the suspected faulty parts with verified ones. Testing on the MOBO screen won't be effective since your CPU lacks an integrated GPU. Based on your description, it seems the motherboard, CPU, and RAM are intact as the board reports no errors. The issue likely lies with your GPU, as the problem persists when it moves between slots. If possible, switching to another GPU would be my next move. If you don't have another GPU but can test on a different motherboard, I'd attempt that to determine if the GPU is the cause. You haven't mentioned your PSU, so it's possible your power supply isn't delivering enough power for the GPU. Have you tried repositioning the PCIe 6 or 8 connector on your GPU? Also, check if your power supply offers alternative PCIe power options. If those aren't feasible, consider returning the device for repair. A CMOS reset might help clear any configuration issues with the PCIe setup, though it's unlikely to resolve the current symptoms after prior testing.
