After the issue, my memory issues seemed resolved by relocating the RAM back to its original slots. No more RAM errors appear; they’re now handled by screen black and GPU fan alerts. I still get audio for about 30 seconds, but if I don’t power down within five seconds it corrupts my GPU driver, forcing a reinstall. My system runs a 7900xt from AMD with the latest drivers. The problem only shows up during gaming sessions lasting 5 to 90 minutes. I’ve attached two hardware monitor files, though temperatures look normal. RAM could be the root cause, but Event Viewer logs don’t support this conclusion. The issue doesn’t affect RGB changes on the Vengeance DDR4 chip.

The GPU reseed didn’t resolve the issue. I also have another GPU and a RAM kit ready, but I don’t have time to troubleshoot at the moment.

Usually this means the graphics card driver is corrupted or the hardware is failing. Use DDU to uninstall the current driver and all related programs, then reinstall the older version instead of the latest one. If the problem persists with black screens and fans running at full speed, your card likely has a failing VRAM and you should consider returning it for repair or replacement. After resolving the issue, wait a few weeks to a month before updating the driver to ensure stability.
