I recently purchased this pre-assembled computer and have experienced frequent crashes while gaming, often triggered by running applications on a secondary monitor – like video playback or Discord. While I'm actively engaged in a game on my primary display, both screens suddenly go blank and lose signal. Audio will continue for a brief moment before the system freezes, leading to an annoying audio loop that necessitates a forced restart. The graphics card was recently upgraded and functioned flawlessly in my previous system, but the original card included with this PC failed to be detected and had to be returned. After installing my separate AMD card, it operated successfully. I’m uncertain whether the problem lies with the motherboard or potentially a memory concern, and another user reported a similar issue attributed to a malfunctioning power supply. I have an additional 850-watt, 80 Plus Gold PSU from a previous system that I could substitute. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Could the power supply unit be the source of the problem? Alternatively, there might be an issue with your motherboard. If you believe the memory is causing problems, you can test it for errors by using memtest64, running it for three complete cycles, and aiming for zero detected errors.

Execute the memory diagnostic tool, the simplest step to rule out initially.
