Hello everyone, I’ve been facing some problems with my PC since switching from an AMD Ryzen 7 3700X and a B550-F board to a Ryzen 9 7950X and an X670E-E board. It tends to shut down while I’m playing games, usually after around 30 minutes. I thought it was overheating because the CPU reached about 90°C, but now it’s between 70-80°C during gaming. I upgraded my cooler, thinking it was the CPU getting too hot, but now I’m using a Corsair H150i AIO cooler. I have a 1000W power supply and a Nvidia RTX 3080 Ti. Someone suggested it might be due to temporary spikes from the GPU, so I reduced the usage to 70%, which helped a bit—enough to finish a full Madden game before shutting down. Then I lowered it further to 50%, and now I can play multiple games without issues, except when I exit a game and return to the home screen. Could it be related to my power supply?

Many computers turn off when heat becomes too high. This might stem from a power supply problem, as older supplies deliver less voltage over time, eventually failing to provide enough power for the motherboard. What's the age of your power supply?
