A few days ago my PC was working well. After a long gaming session it shut down. The next day I restarted it and it froze while only Chrome was open. I reinstalled Chrome but the problem persisted. Then I switched to Microsoft Edge, which also froze after a day. I can still play games and use Discord, but any browser causes my computer to crash or restart on its own. I've tried many solutions without success. Anyone know what might be wrong?

I handled it for both browsers. I’m not sure if it helps, but I was just using only my settings open on my PC. It started blacking out and tried to restart by itself again, but it wouldn’t stop. The GPU fan was spinning very fast, like it does when it restarts, but this time it kept going nonstop with no screen activity. I had to turn it off manually.

It looks like a hardware problem rather than a software or browser issue, so it should stop working when the system loads or while gaming. Your PSU seems to experience significant voltage fluctuations in your area.

The breaker in my apartment does trip every now and then for the room with my computer in it, but like usually in the middle of the night when nothing is on so maybe.

It looks like a power delivery problem. Try using a different PSU if possible. A reliable PSU can handle voltage changes, and make sure your room’s wiring is correct. A 10-amp breaker shouldn’t trip under low load conditions.
