The computer fails to power on despite a bootable Windows USB drive.
hello everyone, a friend brought me his son's PC that won't boot to windows. when i first checked the bios, i noticed he tried some overclocking, but it didn't work well—like with just 1.6v on a ryzen 3 3200g. i don’t know what he did before, and the kid keeps being annoying without telling me what he tried. the computer won’t start even with a bootable usb drive, and pressing the keyboard just causes it to crash. this hasn't happened to me before. my thought is either the cpu is faulty or the motherboard has an issue. i’ve tested the ram and gpu, they’re fine. the pen works perfectly on my machine. thanks for the help! system specs: asus strix b450-f ryzen 3 3200g, radeon rx 5700xt, psu corsair rm 650, memory gskill ddr4 3000cl15.
It seems unusual, likely not related to BIOS adjustments since the CMOS was reset. You might want to test another processor.
