The computer displays a blue screen after updating components
Hey there, on January 1st my computer decided to stop working. I noticed a dark shiny spot on the motherboard. Did that mean it was broken? I thought about replacing it, but I bought a new motherboard and RAM. Now I’m experiencing lots of bluescreens and Windows crashes. There’s an infinite black screen with a loading icon. My PC doesn’t show any errors on the board, and I’ve tried installing a clean Windows setup, but when it reboots during installation it still shows bluescreens. Can this be because the CPU is having issues? The RAM I got is for the motherboard, and the specs look good—CPU is i9 13900K, GPU is RTX 3090, PSU is 1000W, cooler from NZXT, SSD is 1TB WD Black 7000MHz. OS is Windows 11, RAM is Kingston Fury Beast DDR5 6000MHz 64GB, CL 40. Motherboard is Asus Rog Strix Z790-F GAMING WIFI LGA1700, ATX, DDR5 with PCIe 5.0 and M.2 slots.
