Hello everyone, I recently installed a new motherboard and when I tried to boot it, the system asked me to change a pin before logging in. The network isn’t working unless I’m already signed in. I’m confused about what to do next. My specs are an RTX 3080 with 12GB RAM, an i9-10900K processor, and 32GB DDR4 2800MHz memory. If this helps, please let me know! Thank you for your assistance.

The login prompt should offer an option to revert to a password. If needed, click the small button for backup; if all else fails, restart in safe mode without a network connection. You’ll find built-in admin tools and the ability to set a new password there. Log out, restart, and try logging in as administrator with the new password. Download the necessary drivers for the new board on another device, transfer them via USB, and install them. After that, log out again and switch back to your regular account. Don’t forget to disable administrator privileges afterward.
It didn’t let me enter a password. In safe mode there was no network connection and the same message appeared unless I selected “change pin it,” which redirected me to the AppStore. This behavior is strange. Since the only way seems to be reinstalling Windows, I understand why I’d prefer a simpler setup. It’s a relatively new install, and I just want to explore other options first.
