Did you inspect the CPU pins when the mount failed? Also, could you test without XMP? This would help determine if the problem lies with memory stability.

I've verified the CPU pins are all straight and it inserted without any resistance. I'll give it another try, though I saw I mistakenly installed the AMD RAID drivers. This might be affecting my NVMe boot driver setup since I'm not using RAID. Could that be the problem? If yes, how can I remove those drivers or find the right NVMe drivers?

I removed StoreMI by mistake while installing drivers, which caused problems with my WD Dashboard software. After the dashboard asked for a firmware update, my default NVMe drivers returned, but the issue persists. I plan to disable XMP and see if it resolves the problem.

I turned off XMP and GameBoost overdrive since I noticed they were active. During the first time playing pubg, my computer briefly froze, then the screen went dark including the taskbar (possibly due to accent color settings). It seemed like pubg was launching but the system was lagging and unresponsive. A message appeared asking for .NET Framework 3.0, which I thought I already had installed for some Visual Studio apps. Could this be related? I’m unsure if it’s a package installation problem, so reinstalling Windows might help.

It seemed the installation process completed the .NET framework, yet my machine remained sluggish (mouse still moving) and the display went dark when I attempted to click. The computer abruptly shut down after just pressing the power button this time. Edited January 3, 2023 by YaBoiQue Adding context

Turn off MultiPlane Overlay. Run sfc /scannow. Verify for an updated vbios. Use Hard disk Sentinel to confirm.

It's actually more confusing than expected. My Ryzen 3600 doesn't fit with 3000 at all—issues arose with 2933, 3200, and 3600—but 3000 definitely doesn't work on most systems.

I'm not sure about updating my VBios, the system didn't show anything, and the Multiplane Overlay didn't help. My drive seems fine, but when I try to launch PUBG, the desktop freezes briefly, then the screen turns black as if loading the game in fullscreen. The mouse still functions, but nothing else happens. The power button doesn't work either. I've been sitting on this black screen for about 30 minutes and nothing changes—my mouse keeps working, but it's not responding. I disabled XMP and lowered the settings to 2133, but problems persist. I also tested 2933; memory doesn’t seem to be the problem unless the run lasted too long.

I installed PUBG on my PC for the first time yesterday and played it for an hour and a half without any problems. When I tried again today, it froze for the first time. It only worked once during the initial playthrough and won’t function after reinstalling.
