In various browsers or applications, you can press a button to launch a new file explorer window containing the opened file, such as when downloading Roblox and wanting to access its folder with a specific file. Since upgrading to Windows 11, I've noticed that opening a new file explorer window isn't possible when another one is already running, unless no explorer windows are active. This issue appears across all browsers, though I primarily use Waterfox but have experienced the same problem with Firefox, Edge, and Chrome before.

Yes, pressing E while holding the Windows key down can launch Explorer. Look at your current Explorer window to see if it moved there. Also, check the TAB keys at the top—some browsers open new tabs similarly to Chrome and Edge.

In the folder structure, click the directory and select either "Launch in New Tab" or "Launch in New Window"
