They were just a handful I mentioned at first. Borderlands wasn’t great overall—though it had some fun moments in the earlier titles, the latest felt disappointing and repetitive. Collect loot mechanics became monotonous. Spec Ops: The Line deserves a note. Half-Life series, System Shock 2 (my favorite I’ve played recently), Black Mesa (a Half-Life inspired title), Crysis (for its visuals), and Shadow Warrior are all standouts. Halo games are impressive too, even if I can’t play them on console anymore.

I wouldn't call the Pre Sequel bad, though it definitely didn't live up to the other two releases. However, 2K mentioned it felt more like a filler rather than something significant. I get why it wasn't impressive either. It was also created by a different team, and if BL3 is strong, then they did it well.

Thank you for the suggestions; it's tough with so few hours. Coming from console gaming, I really appreciate backward compatibility and how many titles are available now at almost no cost compared to when I was playing on PC.
