You have just $4.61 in your Steam account. You’re new to the Fallout series and want to try something exciting but affordable. Consider starting with Fallout: New Vegas—it’s engaging, has a great story, and fits within your budget.

I personally would choose New Vegas and I really liked it more than three times.

3 and New Vegas. In fact, most fans excited about Fallout 4 have only tried 3 or New Vegas since the first two games are quite different in style.

You should go with New Vegas. Regarding Fallout 3, it does have some issues on Windows 7.

Both titles face challenges, though New Vegas manages fewer issues. There are numerous solutions for both games; if you were choosing, I’d pick New Vegas because you wouldn’t need the DLC bundle for either one. Fallout 3 without the DLC concludes once the main plot ends and you can’t proceed further, whereas in New Vegas you’re able to keep playing past the main story.
