I own a Pavilion 15 p158sa. It doesn't perform well, but it can handle certain games. I'm facing some laptop issues. Connecting the charger leads to an abrupt decrease in CPU speed (from 2.60 GHz to 1.09 GHz). I've tried AMD Overdrive, but all adjustments reset once the AMD overdrive feature is closed.

It might not be a major problem, but it's a feature.
Inserting the charger turns on the power-saving mode – meaning charging would take longer without it.
