Hi, today I began overclocking my graphics card (MSI GTX 650 2GB OC Edition).
After running msi afterburner and adjusting the core speed to +10mhz, the GPU-Z indicated a rise in core clock from 1072mhz to 1082mhz.
During the benchmark, the card ran at 1071mhz, similar to before the overclock.
Then I increased the core speed to +20mhz, and again the GPU-Z showed a boost to 1092mhz, but this time the benchmark clock reached 1084mhz—meaning the clock went up, yet it didn’t perform at full power.
Each time I tried raising the core speed, the result was consistent: no increase in performance or full-power operation.
I attempted using EVGA Precision instead of msi afterburner, but the issue persisted.
I was using benchmarks such as Valley Benchmark and MSI Kombustor 3, and reinstalled the drivers, but it didn’t help :/
My PC specs:
CPU: FX 6300 OC to 4.3ghz
CPU Cooler: Box
MOBO: Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3P
GPU: MSI GTX 650 2GB OC Edition
PSU: Chieftec GPE-500s
RAM: 2x4GB DDR3
Sorry for my unclear English, I’m still learning.

your PSU isn't capable of supporting the CPU and GPU overclocking, consider upgrading it.
