Attempting to connect GSKill Flare X5 RAM to a MSI Pro B650-A caused minor damage, affecting only the corner, not the contacts. The module doesn’t click into place as described in the tutorial and you’re experiencing seating issues. Did you use the wrong type of RAM?

It wasn't clear just how much force was required, which made positioning more difficult but the attempt succeeded.

Absolutely, some motherboards require more effort while others install easily. Good news—your setup is working properly. You seem to have confirmed the system is active and recognized the RAM.
