Hey there! I'm just starting with the controller in Call of Duty on PC via Steam. I found "aim assist" really helpful while playing, but once I switch back in-game it feels sluggish—like it drops to 70% and jumps back up to 100% in half a second. This makes it tough to react quickly if someone is behind me. I'm using a DualSense controller and have tried all the response settings in Black Ops 6, Standard, Linear, and Dynamic modes. Anyone have any advice or tips to try? 😊

If aim assist is turned off, does the problem persist?
Is this only in the game where the issue occurs or are there other games affected?
Have you used the same controller on a second PC to check? (To determine if the issue continues.)
Have you switched to a different controller on your current PC? (To see if the problem remains even with another controller.)
Based on your responses, it could be:
game-related issue
aim assist-related issue
PC-related issue
controller-related issue

Expected outcome confirmed. CoD allows various curves for translating Right Stick inputs in gameplay, such as the three options in Warzone 2. The standard setting likely matches what you observe. You may also adjust the sensitivities to fine-tune the behavior.
