Hello, I own several Seagate constellation ES.3 hard drives, but none of my cables work. The connection port looks completely different, and I’m confused about why. I don’t understand this standard—it doesn’t seem like SATA I know. The power is strong, but the data transfer is slow. Could you assist me?

The ES3 includes the SAS connector rather than SATA. You can purchase compatible adapters, such as this one from Amazon: Goliton SFF-8482 SAS to SATA Cable for Hard Disk Connected to Motherboard SATA Port Adapter Cable 15PIN Power Port: Electronics

No, you don't necessarily need a SAS controller unless your setup specifically requires it for performance or compatibility reasons.
