Hello, your friend's PC has been experiencing frequent failures. His setup includes a Ryzen 9 5900X, an open-loop liquid cooler, G. Skill Neo Trident Z with 32GB RAM, ASUS X570 motherboard, Powercolor Red Devil 6750XT GPU, and an HX1000 PSU. He mentioned two Dark Heroes burning out, always showing the same burnt spot on the back near the CPU. Despite keeping his BIOS updated, this issue persists. Possible causes could involve overheating from the cooling setup or a failing component under stress.

These motherboards experienced significant issues. Ensure the replacement board he receives carries the updated part number for the revision that resolves the problem. Refer to the details below.

It's interesting to note that if you check that discussion, the V version has the issues—despite the first person having the China version with a 0? That’s quite confusing. The main takeaway is to avoid buying computer parts from Asus, mainly because of their poor customer service.

It's a clear issue, to be honest. I'd avoid Powercolor GPUs as well.
