I just completed a computer build, but I’m not sure anything is wrong. It hasn’t been turned on yet. Could you take a look to see if there are any issues and share any checklists you have for me to follow?

Here’s a simplified list:
- PC part picker check
- Build list verification
- Front fan cable proximity concern
- Motherboard model needed for further review

It's a large gaming drive, but I'm nervous about turning it on.

You probably didn’t connect the ARGB cable because you weren’t interested in or didn’t care about ARGB settings, or you simply forgot it. The motherboard does have ARGB headers, which is understandable, but only one way to confirm. Based on what you can see in your video, everything seems okay except for the points I mentioned earlier.

If anything is wrong, your MSI A650BN should cut the power before any damage can be done.

I connected it to the RGB header, but I’m not sure what the purpose is since I don’t understand its function.

No problem, you can safely connect your PC to a surge protector even if it has high power output.
