I had recovery points activated on my PC, the oldest being March 6. I attempted to revert to it but encountered an error and an infinite death screen upon startup. After troubleshooting, I removed items from the system recovery menu, though I suspect a problematic update remains that compromises the core.
I noticed your Ryzen 7 5800X running at 1.55 volts. Could you check what the maximum voltage your motherboard supports? Also, see if adjusting the voltage through Ryzen Master helps. If anyone has a solution, let me know—this seems to be a Windows-related issue since the system keeps restarting after errors.
As far as I understand, the main concern seems to be connected to virtualization handled by Windows Security -> Device Security -> Core isolation -> Memory Integrity.
I have turned off this feature myself.
I’m not an expert, just trying various methods, so results might differ.
So far it’s working for me, but as I’ve mentioned before, I’d need a bit more time to verify, since my BSODs weren’t as common compared to others here.
Again, no one here is an expert, and I haven’t heard positive feedback about RyzenMaster you’re referring to, so I recommend doing your own research.
I resolved the BSOD by changing to the nvidia 566.12 drivers, but instead of triggering the BSOD, it now just closes the game (though less frequently) and produces the error "Persistent nvlddmkm Event id 153". I noticed this might be connected to Precision Boost Overdrive, so I lowered the undervolt from 25 to 20 to check for stability. I found a discussion about this event ID here: https://www.reddit.com/r/PcBuildHel...is...rs_on_new/

it seems both bugcheck and csrss.exe are linked to termination issues. I’d think ovpn-dco.sys is likely the culprit based on the info:
OpenVPN Data Channel Offload (DCO) is a modern Linux kernel module that boosts VPN performance by handling data channels inside the kernel.
It’s unlikely anything should alter csrss.exe, as it verifies itself and would trigger bugcheck if changed.
Both systems had long uptimes before any problems appeared.
You could try uninstalling the software or updating it. Running verifier.exe flags might help induce a crash.
The client server runtime service checks for changes and will stop quickly if modified.
The issue may stem from a driver, BIOS, chipset, or CPU bug—hard to pinpoint. The first step would be to refresh everything and recheck.
