I just assembled my very first PC and was really pumped up—until I realized it wasn’t doing well. I’m hoping someone can assist me, or at least give me some advice.

You might fix it using the installation disk. Execute it and choose repair over install. After that, perform startup repair. If the issue persists right away, it’s likely simpler to restart from a clean setup.
