I was frequently discussing how my Windows setup slows down with more data on the SSD. Recently I noticed only three boot circles now, which felt quicker than before. What might have occurred? I ran BootPerformanceView and saw improvements in several timings—driver setup, service initialization, user profile processing, and more. However, my laptop had been asleep all night before I powered it on, and automatic startup updates were turned off. Regarding maintenance, should I enable the automatic check? It’s an option many overlook, yet it appears to trigger significant background activity. I’m unsure if it resolved my previous boot delays or if this was just a fortunate occurrence.
