Hello. I've faced several problems with Bluetooth recently. I'm trying to link my PS4 controller to my PC using DS4Windows, which works fine with a cable. Previously, the dongle functioned well, but after it stopped working, I gave up on fixing it. Now I'm back to troubleshooting. I've used two different dongles, yet neither connects properly, so I suspect an issue with my PC. The dongle appears in the 'Other devices' section under Bluetooth & other devices in Settings. I recall updating my BIOS and reinstalling drivers through Device Manager, but that didn't resolve the problem. I've also searched online for solutions without success. I'm unsure if I'm missing any details. Please let me know if you need screenshots or further help. Thank you.

Occasionally those tiny connectors fail. Because they’re inexpensive, you shouldn’t think they’ll last a long time. I’m not claiming your Bluetooth is faulty, but troubleshooting with software can be frustrating when the issue is simply a broken part.

It was the same issue. I used two, but neither helped.

Consider purchasing a M2 to PCI-E wireless WiFi adapter board. For enhanced performance, you can opt for an Intel® Wi-Fi 6 AX200 module or the GAMER Killer™ Wi-Fi 6 AX1650 PCIe card. Pair these with Bluetooth controllers for PS3/4/5, Steam, Switch, or Xbox 360. If using wireless earphones or headphones, you might want to check APTX or APTXLL. For budget options, look at the Ugreen Bluetooth 4.2 Audio Transmitter, MPOW BH259A transmitter/receiver, or more affordable models like Oasis Plus, DG60, and TT-BA014. Windows 10 struggles with Bluetooth connectivity, especially for wireless peripherals. Historically, only specialized software from Toshiba and Bluesoil supported Bluetooth well in XP and 7.
