Recently shared advice suggests adjusting BIOS settings for the i9-14900K to prevent it from running poorly. Some users recommend updating BIOS and making several changes within BIOS to ensure smooth performance. For your current build—4080 Super i9-14900K with 32GB DDR4 3200MHz RAM, 1000W PSU, and M.2 Gigabyte memory—consider tweaking the gigabyte M.2 slot and possibly updating the BIOS for optimal stability.

1) DDR4 14900K performance seems excessive. 2) Install the latest firmware now, since Intel CPUs are dropping in quality beyond specifications; the microcode patch addresses this issue but doesn't reverse damage. 3) When you say "Not run like ASS," I assume you want to boost speed—current stock already performs well. Just turn on XMP, pick a higher power profile, or set manual limits. I’m not comfortable with advanced tweaks like Load Line Calibration, but there are other options available.

Adjust settings carefully for optimal results; microcode fixes aren't complete. For gaming:
- Disable E-Cores
- Secure core frequency (set Vcore to 1.35, use the highest stable frequency, probably 5.5–5.7 for a 14900K with adequate cooling)
- Disable hyperthreading, which lowers temperatures and boosts single-thread performance. Most titles don’t gain much from more than 8 threads.
- Turn off iGPU, as it also bypasses BIOS voltage/frequency controls, making an OS update unnecessary.

We're assessing performance using the provided specifications. Follow the guidance in your profile, though keep in mind certain details are tailored for Asus.

Do you know if CPU Microcode 0x12B resolves all problems? You might need more adjustments. Your 14900KF keeps crashing with this microcode (random closures, ERROR STATUS ACCESS VIOLATION, etc.). The MSI MEG Z790 ACE MOBO could help, but the diagnostics seem normal despite the issues.

Reply delayed, the issue wasn't my work—it came from another person. I updated my bio with the latest changes, including Microbe fixes. Just checking if there are any other tweaks needed in the bio to help maintain performance while lowering temperatures.

These adjustments can enhance your system's speed and reliability. However, modifying the BIOS requires caution—experience is key. Incorrect changes might render your device unable to start.

Adjust the settings using the default options. Reducing voltage, whether with or without overclocking, may lower the heat if needed.
