Hello, I’m wondering if the Biostar H81MHV3 Ver. 7.x motherboard is compatible with the i3 4170 CPU right out of the box. I assume the board comes with the BIOS released on January 23, 2014. I’m concerned that purchasing this board might require a different CPU later if I need to update the BIOS. The i3 4170 is listed in the supported CPUs, but there’s no clear information about the required BIOS version for it. I’ve already contacted Biostar about this issue, but they haven’t responded yet, and another shop I spoke with couldn’t provide details since the BIOS version isn’t listed on the packaging. I noticed the board I have matches the one described on valid.x86.fr, which should give me more detailed information. Please let me know if you can help!
