Hello, I purchased these components and am attempting to flash the BIOS to enable a boot. At the moment, nothing is installed on the board. The 24V power is connected, and I've tried the USB flash drive in both non-USB 3 ports. The manual advises formatting to fat32, downloading the driver, renaming the file to GIGABYTE.bin, and inserting it into the white port (which doesn't exist on this board). Pressing the Q flash button should activate the LED, but it doesn't turn on. However, the power supply starts up briefly before shutting off. I'm open to more details if needed. For testing purposes, I connected the CPU, RAM, and M.2 SSD to see if the board maintains power, and it did. The RAM lights up and the power supply continues spinning, though no video output appears. I also don't have another chip available for a BIOS update this way... AMD 8600G, GIgabyte B650M D3HP, EVGA 500W W1 80+ Edited June 5, 2024 by valorsHelp include extra information

The CPU EPS power connector is also connected properly. Every board I've used with BIOS Flashback requires this as well. Use the top USB 2 port farthest from the PS2 port, which the manual specifies for BIOS Flashback.

The port marked C is the Q-Flash+ port. Ensure file extensions are enabled in Windows Explorer to confirm correct naming. If the size differs from 32.7MB, the file format may be incorrect (Latest F30 BIOS). Flashback issues can occur if the USB drive uses a GPT partition table rather than the standard MBR. The BIOS flashback button is positioned differently based on your manual.

You probably didn't hear that before. Just got some directions from the gigabytes site.

Gigabyte recommends connecting the EPS cable and using the 24-pin connector. Ensure compliance with renaming rules and format the drive to FAT32 as specified. Refer to the product details for more information.

Gigabyte should likely refresh those details if they appear anywhere on their site. Others might search for the issue, and the correct page could help clarify things.

When other solutions don't work, switch to another flash drive brand. I encountered this problem with my device, then changed to a different flash drive using the same process and it functioned properly.
