I attempted to refresh the BIOS on my B450 Gaming Pro Carbon AC, but I overlooked needing to press the bios flashback button until it began flashing. I just held it briefly before releasing. After a minute, the button stopped working. Did this damage anything? My fans are at full speed, which seems typical.

The instruction is clear—keep the button pressed until the flashing begins. Is it secure to turn it off now? Since the regular power switch won’t work, you should follow the on-screen guidance carefully.

The screen displayed an image from the connected device. Regarding the port, it was indeed in the correct position.

It's been 15 minutes and the fans are running at full speed. The motherboard still shows the egg, but the BIOS indicator is off.

Now that I reflect, I didn’t unzip it. I focused on the required file and changed its name. It seems to function now, though it’s worth noting.

Have you attempted to reboot the computer? Have you verified that the latest firmware matches your device? Additionally, ensure the drive is set to FAT32 if needed.

I've attempted to reset by turning off the power, but it didn't help. It seems the power button isn't effective.
