Hello everyone, I'm facing an issue with my BIOS. Whenever I switch the preferred video output to the integrated graphics and save the change to restart, the system boots into the graphics card and reverts the setting to auto. The motherboard I have is an Asus Z270-A with an i5-6500 processor. I tried following this guide: https://smallbusiness.chron.com/switch-o...53059.html but couldn't get the exact steps from it. Instead, I changed it to: - Advanced - System Agent configuration - Primary Display - Auto (then switched to iGFX). After saving and rebooting, it still doesn't reset fully to auto. Any advice would be appreciated.
The graphics card remains installed because it defaults to igpu by default. There’s no need to manually select it if you don’t intend to use it.
It's designed for a tiny mining rig, which is why I can't take out the graphics cards.
The system is attempting to utilize the igpu for processing or rendering purposes.
