If the budget allows, I’d opt for the Ryzen 5 3600 paired with a MAX motherboard. For the Ryzen 2xxx lineup, a non-MAX series board is sufficient as every B450 supports the Ryzen 5 2xxx series. When deciding between the options, it would help to know your intended use for the system.
