The game remains in beta phase, with some assets still incomplete. Using identical textures and models isn’t ideal since uniqueness matters. Your observation about the shadows is noted, though it seems the team isn’t overly concerned about them yet.

I just reread the entire message. I told you it wasn't because it's a beta; the Frostbite engine can check BF4 and will find the same thing.
