Hi everyone - I've been dealing with this really annoying issue on Windows 10. When signing in, the characters I type vanish as soon as they're entered. Pressing a key for a moment shows letters but they slowly disappear until nothing remains. My cherry MX blue mechanical keyboard works fine, and the backspace button functions properly. Booting into Linux or W10 in a VM doesn't have this problem. The issue seems to affect only Windows 10 as a host OS. I've tested various keyboards, USB ports, and even installed a fresh copy of Windows, but it still backspaces during setup. I also tried resetting the BIOS, but nothing worked. It feels like a possible firmware virus, maybe due to my frustration after hours of troubleshooting. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

This text seems like it was typed incorrectly. It appears to be a jumbled mix of words and unclear phrasing.

Please do not flash it unless you have to. Unlesst there is a bug or you just need to do it. For now don't worty about a BIOS flash it won't do much if anything at all.

Windows includes a built-in fix tool for corrupted installations. You can use a repair disk or reinstall the software. A virus might also be the cause.

As discussed, I tested various keyboards but the problem continues.

Consider another USB port or use a hub. Inform us about the outcome.
