Check your motherboard specs for the correct CPU connector type. Your PSU has 2x 8-pin connectors, so you can use those. Since your board has a 12-connector setup but lacks a 4-pin CPU port, you’ll need to connect the CPU using the 8-pin ports from your PSU. Make sure to follow the motherboard manual for proper wiring.

The 8 pin EPS cables should be divided in half, similar to how an 8 pin PCIe (6+2) cable is split. Which CPU are you using? You might need a lot of overclocking if you don’t have the right cables. If you don’t have an EPS cable that splits, just use a single 8 pin one.

You can split one of the 8-pin EPS cables into a 4+4 pin version and use it instead. For all other cases, like LN2 overclocking, the 4-pin connector is unnecessary.

I’ll use the 5600x setup. After checking, it looks like one of the 8-pin CPU cables can split into two 4-pin cables. Should I just divide it and use that, or skip the extra 4-pin connector for a cleaner look?

Someone checking this might try the extra 4 pin version if you have it. My setup uses a 5600x and an RTX 3090, and the extra pin really improved stability during PCIe 4.0 benchmarking. Nvidia 30 series cards push power limits, so it’s much steadier now and I no longer face crashes in tough games.
