I recently purchased the M50x from Amazon and it arrived today. I connected it to my computer but didn’t hear any sound. I used the Windows troubleshooter, but it didn’t resolve the issue. I also tested all other ports. Since the headphones worked fine on my iPhone, it’s possible the problem lies with the device itself. Could you check the connection or consider a replacement?

The issue seems to be that your PC isn<|pad|>, and the headphones aren't involved. For next time, consider these suggestions in your thread title. Anyway, could you access this screen? If you can open the classic control panel, select Hardware and Sound, then go to Manage Audio Devices under the Sound section.

Insert the headphones again and remember which port you connected them to. Also, let me know the motherboard model.

Check if the headphones are linked to the Line Out. Open the Sound control panel, right-click the device marked with a green checkmark labeled Speakers Realtek Audio Default device. Explore the options. In the General section, find Jack Information details. Within Levels, verify if it’s at full capacity. In Advanced, listen when you run the Test function.

I checked all the jacks on my PC. I also connected it to the monitor's headphone jack, but the sound quality is lower and there’s more interference. When I run the Test function, nothing comes through and it displays "Failed to play test tone."

I also used a USB sound card from HyperX that was included with my Cloud II. I connected the M50X and it functioned, but the audio options remain restricted.

Attempt to play test tone failed. Consider deleting the Realtek software and testing if the 3.5mm audio jack functions. On Windows 10, open Apps settings, find Realtek, uninstall all associated audio items, then restart. A new default driver will be installed.
