The audio service is not functioning.
Hello all, I've booted up my PC this afternoon to find that I have no audio, in the taskbar the speaker icon has a red cross beside it and when I hover over it I get the message "The audio service is not running". It was working perfectly fine yesterday and there have been no Windows updates installed between yesterday and today. I'm somewhat baffled. Any help is appreciated. EDIT: When I attempt to start Windows Audio from Services", I get an Access Denied error code.
