I am constructing an ATX system and while handling cable management last night, I realized I must install a metal panel in my case because the side intake isn’t being used. The case includes a metal panel (photos available) that conceals cables at the front, but it doesn’t provide sufficient space for the ATX cable, making it difficult to install without bending it excessively, which isn’t comfortable. My PSU is a Thermaltake ToughPower GF3 1200W, and the ATX unit is quite rigid, leaving me uncertain about a solution. I’d prefer to keep the panel in place for a cleaner appearance. I’ve checked individual sleeve cables and 90-degree adapters, searched online, but most builds use liquid cooling with exposed side intakes, so it seems this isn’t a common issue. I posted this in the PSU section as it relates to power supply, but am open to moving it to the case if more relevant.

You might want to add a video of your full build because I suspect you're likely making mistakes with the cable management.

Maybe try folding the 24pin cable (and other cables too) slightly before connecting it to the motherboard. This could help avoid stressing the connector(s).
They're quite adaptable, which makes sense. I think pre-bending should probably address the concern.
A cable set would also be a good idea.
I didn't realize cables could be pre-bent before connecting them. I went through some build guides and bending wasn't a big concern for me otherwise. But I'm cautious about damaging things. In my rush to finish after parts were left around (thanks to ADHD), I might have overlooked an important step in cable management or missed the right video. The posted video seems more detailed than what I've seen before.
