I planned to boost my i5 4690k on the asus z97-a board, but in the BIOS when trying to set the CPU core voltage manual, it said the feature wouldn't work unless the onboard OV_CPU jumper was turned on. After looking around, I couldn't locate the OV_CPU switch anywhere.

Thanks a lot, I was trying to figure this out and it seems like setting up the switch in that way is unusual. However, some switches can be overridden in UEFI. Let me know if you're facing other problems—I've had similar issues with the same board. Also, I managed to get good results by overvolting it.
