I'm not very experienced with overclocking, but I'm happy the Asus Z170-A makes it simpler.
I turned on my TPU feature and set it to TPU II on the Mobo, as well as on the BIOS.
Now when my system boots up on the Asus Screen it says "Overclocked 15%".
This is supposed to be 4.6hz but in Task Manager it displays 4.1hz.
The BIOS also shows 4.0hz instead of the expected 4.6hz.
I know it changes during idle and drops as low as 1.2hz, but shouldn't it always show the maximum available?
Additionally, I'm having problems with my Corsair Vengeance 3000 DDR4 RAM.
I've enabled XMP and set it to 3000, but it still shows as 2133.
Any way to fix this?
I've attached a picture to illustrate what I'm seeing in both cases.
