The Asus X570 fails to boot into BIOS and displays the logo screen.
Hello everyone, welcome! I just set up my own PC and still have issues. The boot LED on my X570 Prime stays green, and the screen freezes on the Asus logo with the F2/Del BIOS option. I cleaned the M.2 drives and the SSD, but when I tried booting with just one M.2 without success. The CPU, VGA, and DRAM lights flash for a couple of seconds before moving to the next stage until it reaches the boot LED, which is solid green. Here’s what my setup looks like: Asus X570 Prime Pro Ryzen 3900x AIO Enermax Liquimax 360 WD Blue M.2 SSD (1TB each), WD Green SSD (1TB), G.SKILL Tridentz DDR4 32GB (2x16GB), Gamemax RGB 850W PSU, EVGA GTX 2070 Super.
I didn't let anything sit in the logo screen for any specific duration—just as long as needed.
There’s no specific time frame mentioned. You also attempted booting with one stick in different slots, but the issue persists.
Consider pausing the system briefly before startup to reduce initial load times.
It has taken about twenty minutes, but the display remains unchanged.
I did that, so I took out both M.2 modules and it started up from my WD Green SSD external drive. The issue is that whenever I try to install the M.2 drives, it doesn’t boot. I confirmed my motherboard supports 2280 M.2, but it still won’t work when I insert the SSDs.
Refresh the system without any installed drives and retest the M.2 slot afterward.
I've noticed the problem. Remove the GPU and the small battery, let it sit for about 10 minutes, then occasionally check the power button. Make sure to disconnect the power cable from the PSU. This will force a full reboot of the BIOS. Good luck!
