Hello,
My Asus Vivobook F515's fingerprint scanner isn't accepting my fingerprint for more than 20 seconds. If this continues, using a PIN would be quicker. Is there anything else you'd like to know?

Asus Support recommends the following steps:
Maintain the fingerprint scanner by regularly cleaning it. Periodic cleaning with a dampened alcohol cloth helps eliminate dirt and oil, which can improve fingerprint recognition.

Please use a soft cloth soaked in alcohol to gently wipe the scanner, avoiding excessive moisture and direct alcohol spray. Ensure the cloth remains slightly damp but not soaking. Allow the device to dry completely before testing the fingerprint function again.
