Hello everyone, I've been struggling to get Tails OS and Qubes OS running from a USB stick for weeks. Despite trying various BIOS settings—except disabling UEFI—I still can't install or launch them on my Asus tuf gaming fx505gm. On the other hand, they worked perfectly on a friend's older Sony laptop. I noticed something odd with Tails: when I click "Start Tails," nothing happens or the system crashes. I'm not very comfortable with Linux and haven't used it before, but I think that might be the issue. Any advice would be super helpful! Thanks a lot, MysteriouS-87

Check your graphics card model. Tails requires a logcat output for troubleshooting.

Thanks for the message! Your laptop comes with an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060. The term "Logcat" is commonly used in Android to display system logs and diagnostic information. It helps you monitor performance, errors, and other details about your device's operation. Let me know if you need more info! Cheers, MysteriouS-87
