The ASUS RoG PC fails to display the boot-up screen.
I didn’t do it—I got it all this way with everything preloaded. I just rechecked the box before sending another reply to confirm no USB was attached.
You may press Shift while rebooting when Windows loads. Turn off the computer using the power button three times. The Troubleshooting options will appear. On another machine, obtain the Windows 10 ISO file and burn it onto a USB drive with the Media Creation Tool. Insert the drive into the affected PC and press F12 repeatedly on the ASUS display, selecting the USB as the boot source. Within the installer, set your language and select "Repair Your Computer." This opens the Troubleshooting menu. Go to Advanced Options, attempt a Startup Repair first; if unsuccessful, use System Restore to a previous point, then try Advanced Startup. Enable Low Resolution Mode. After restarting, the basic Windows video driver should load, and you should be able to install the latest GPU driver.
Click the advanced options again but select system restore. If this doesn’t work, you’ll need to make an ISO image like Funk suggested—it’s a deeper fix that swaps the damaged files for new ones from the drive. You should have received a Windows key from your computer that you can use.
Some applications might have been removed during a restore, but you'll also need to install new drivers. First, download Display Driver Uninstalle and remove the previous ones, then reinstall from the provided link: https://www.nvidia.com/download/driverRe...382/en-us/. During installation, select the express settings and let the process finish completely—never turn it off at any point. It's typical for the screen to become black during setup.
It was nothing, just Spotify and another app I don’t use and shouldn’t open at startup. Spotify worked fine and seemed to function properly. Thanks a lot for your assistance! I was really anxious.
Sure, I tried my best. Just a quick note that I revised my earlier response, but you got there first.
