The ASUS motherboard fan control service has ceased functioning.
Each time I power on or restart my computer, a Reliability Monitor error appears. The only ASUS component in my PC is the motherboard. When I first assembled the system and installed Windows, I used the ASUS Armory Crate. I removed that software a while ago and don’t require it anymore. Still, I notice an ASUS directory in Program Files (x86) containing the AsusFanControlService, AsusCertService and AXSP folders. Can I safely delete everything in that folder, or is there a better approach? I don’t want to see these warnings for programs I don’t really need. If I must keep them, how can I resolve the issue with my ASUS motherboard?
