You're experiencing a recurring issue with your ASUS PRIME A320M-K where the BIOS prompts "Save and reset?" repeatedly during setup. It seems the previous behavior of showing "Save and exit?" has changed, possibly due to a recent BIOS update or hardware changes. Trying to manually adjust settings in the BIOS hasn't resolved the problem, and resetting via CMOS might not be the right approach if it's causing instability. Consider checking for firmware updates from ASUS or consulting the manufacturer's support for further guidance.

Pressing F10 activates the save and exit/restart shortcut. This behavior is standard. If no updates were made, the system will show you haven’t changed, prompting a restart.

I received a desktop from my parents who upgraded it (AMD A10-9700, 3.5Ghz, ASUS Prime A320M-K, 8GB RAM at 2666MHz) and wanted to experiment with overclocking. Initially, I used the built-in AI settings to automatically adjust and reached 3.9Ghz. Then I raised the BCLK and achieved 4.05Ghz without issues. After that, I pushed it further but the system stopped booting, so I had to reset the BIOS using the CMOS method. I later tried bringing it back up to 4.05Ghz in BIOS, but when I stress-tested it, both the HW Monitor and CPU-Z displayed a maximum speed of 3.7Ghz. I increased BCLK to 104 and the multiplier to 39, yet CPU-Z reported 100 for BCLK and 37 for the multiplier. I've adjusted BIOS settings multiple times without success. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

The A320 chipset doesn’t allow overclocking. My board uses a Ryzen 1400, so I can only adjust the memory settings.

I also showed the bios, everything is working now (it's stable at 4.05 GHz).

Wait, this board bypasses the A10? That's intriguing. The CPU requires an overclock, but it's being handled with the A320 chipset. Do you have any screenshots?

I used bclk for this job—though it’s an outdated method, 4 GHz is still 4 GHz. Also, seems like the CPU was already boosted by the system; it was supposed to run at 3.5 GHz stock, but it was actually at 3.8 when I first got it.

That's interesting. I can't overclock the clock with minecarts; I'm running a Ryzen 1400. I remember reading about OS compatibility for overclocking in older BIOS versions. What BIOS version are you working with?
