The Asus B550M-A PRO WIFI M.2 slots seem unresponsive.
About two months ago, I moved a cyberpower build from a damaged case into a thermaltake case. I bought a brand new Samsung 980 NVME and put it into the nearest slot to my CPU (Ryzen 7 3700X). I installed a fresh G.Skill Triden Z RGB 32GB (4x8GB) drive, flashed the latest BIOS from the ASUS website, and everything worked until last Saturday. When I tried to access the BIOS, it showed up on the screen but the NVME wasn’t visible. I switched slots multiple times, but the same issue persisted. Eventually, I swapped it out with another M.2 drive I had on hand, which also didn’t show up. After clearing the CMOS and retrying, I checked the BIOS settings again. Honestly, I’m not very familiar with these new components since I haven’t used the BIOS much since my old Phenom. If anyone has suggestions, I’d really appreciate it. I’m hoping I won’t need to replace the motherboard after all. Thanks in advance!
