So maybe I messed things up even more. One of my relatives had this laptop and he gave it to me for testing repairs. It had a blinking orange light on the battery icon, but it wouldn<|pad|> to turn on. The laptop has an integrated battery with an external reset pinhole. When I pressed it down briefly and tried to power it again, the orange light stopped working entirely. Now it hasn’t changed since then—it doesn’t give any signal at all. I took it because I thought a battery issue was the problem, so I’m considering replacing the battery. But I have no idea what else to do.

The flashing orange light signals a severely depleted battery, insufficient for starting the device. Allow it to charge fully.

I understand the orange light indicates a low battery, but it isn't illuminating, and charging the laptop doesn't seem to help.
