The Asus 5 way optimization caused my GPU to stop working properly.
I recently purchased a new PC (Asus Pro Gaming motherboard, GTX 1070, i7 6700K) and applied the 5 way optimization from Al Suite thinking it wouldn’t cause any issues. However, my computer would repeatedly shut off and turn back on, remaining blank for over 20 minutes. Seeing discussions in this forum about similar problems, I restarted manually but still couldn’t get a boot. When I reopened and closed the PC, it booted through the BIOS settings, which were very blurry—even after changing everything to defaults, it never loaded into Windows. I experimented with different configurations, eventually removing the GPU and connecting an HDMI cable from the integrated graphics. The PC functioned normally afterward! I even reinstalled the graphics card (using a cable from the motherboard to the monitor) and the GPU was recognized, but the LEDs weren’t working. If you have a DVI-D cable from the GPU to the monitor, the PC shows no signal after BIOS and the BIOS logo appears very blurry. Please help me out—I’m really worried!
Because of the slight discrepancy, would it help to try using the HDMI from the 1070? Since that cable and screen function through the motherboard.
Did you change GPU or CPU configurations in 5way?
Did you connect the cable when it was functioning properly, but was it connected to the 1070?
Are you using a VGA monitor?
What type of cable are you employing? It indicates HDMI from iGPU, yet DVI-D from GPU.
If your setup is a VGA model, 10 series cards cannot handle an analog signal, though your motherboard may.
In this scenario, you should use an "active" adapter, no matter the output type.

TPU includes a second tab for GPU. My program is part of AI Suite. I don't see a second tab, probably because I have the newest version.

According to what I understand
I thought so too. Perhaps it doesn't, but it caused an issue with the PCIe slot somehow?
I also recently tested my old GPU (a Radeon) and it had the same problem as the GTX 1070. So I believe something went wrong with the motherboard after the optimization.
Do you have a VGA display? I believe it doesn't, as it lacks a VGA port and only has DVI-D and D-SUB connections.
