After installing the Armory crate, I can't disable the RGB after the PC shuts down or powers off. It already turns off when functioning, but it disregards BIOS settings despite being installed. Uninstalling it didn’t help either. Anyone have a solution?

Are there additional RGB management tools besides Armory Crate? Do you use Corsair, G.Skill, CoolerMaster, or Aura Sync? Confirm if any other software is present to avoid conflicts.

It's clearly not what you need. If you want to proceed, click Show All and use the official uninstall tool provided.

I don’t have any other RGB software left. I cleared all files from the local drive and hidden folders, and it seems to work now. However, one program still refuses to uninstall—it’s the “Asus motherboard” tool. I’m pretty sure it wasn’t there before. To be honest, I think it’s part of the Armory Crate setup since it installed ten other unnecessary programs along with some of its own.

I understood completely. It was really exhausting managing those ASUS settings and removing everything.

All the RGB-related tools are problematic. They slow things down, reduce performance, collect data, and are easy targets for hackers. It’s essentially worthless—use dedicated RGB LED solutions instead. Just a remote control will do without any of that clunky software. It’s not rocket science, but companies keep compromising your privacy and forcing you to rely on unreliable programs. Disappointing and a bit misleading.
