Some odd people would harm them. So RS should avoid any risks. Makes sense.

In FO3 it wasnt possible to kill the Children. And guess what, a mod was created. I like weird and crazy things and im mostly against all kind of censorship. But Children are out of the Question.

I reside in Europe yet had to experience the US version back then, since you could definitely outplay them. Keep in mind that Fallout 2 is an older title and much of its edgy humor would likely be lost in newer games—after all, you can taunt people in the groin and receive messages like "looks like her childbearing days are over." The game does include violence (a lot), but it isn't central to the story. You can navigate many scenarios by talking your way through, yet harming or killing children is strongly discouraged if you get the "child killer" perk, which triggers bounty hunters, pushes some characters away, and makes most NPCs avoid interaction. Completing the game seems extremely difficult, as I haven't tried it.
