I purchased and received a Coollaboratory Liquid MetalPad. I assumed it was around 0.1mm thick, but it is actually much thinner. Looking up "gold leaf" confirmed its thinness. This raises concerns about whether one layer is sufficient to cover the IHS and die, or if an additional layer is necessary.

with the epoxy removed, there is no space between IHS and die, only gaps due to surface imperfection.
those gaps are filled just fine even by very thin layer of actual liquid metal - not some pads.
